Like most people I started my driving lessons when I turned 17 but unlike most failed badly twice and was so shaken by the experience that I gave up completely for 16 years.

I started driving lessons again but this time with Pete! He put me at ease straight away and not only gave me the confidence to drive but also gave me the skills to pass my test even after all these years : )

I want to say a massive THANK YOU to Pete for helping me so much and teaching me so well I would HIGHLY recommend Drive Neale to anyone. If he got me through the test he'll get anyone through!!!

He had so much faith in me that I would pass my driving practical and I am happy actually excited to say that I did second time round. Thank-you Pete for being a great instructor and believing in me and that I could do it. I would highly recommend you to others who want to learn to drive. At some stages I did feel as if i should give up and that it weren't for me, but with Pete by my side I felt more and more confidant and safe behind the wheel off his car. His Excellent tuition got me through it, right to the end and I'm very grateful for Pete's excellent guidance and safeness while on my lessons.

Pete has been a wonderful and patient driving instructor. I had previously attempted to learn to drive twice before with other instructors but always gave up within a few months. When I started taking lessons with Pete I was very impressed with his professional and calm manner which instantly put me at ease and made me feel confident that I was in safe hands. Over the past six months Pete has helped me to develop my driving skills to a very high standard, as a result of his tuition I passed my driving test first time! Now at 23 I finally have my driving licence and can stop relying on other people to take me everywhere- my new lease of independence is a priceless gift and I owe it all to Pete- thank you!

.Anyone who might be searching for a top instructor patient, calm, good company, great at explaining how to do things, positive and will give you confidence in driving Pete is your man. I passed 1st time with only 3 minors and I still can't believe it, I was so nervous about learning to drive, even though I had lessons before 4 years ago, the thought of learning again was daunting, it only took a couple of lessons to get over my nerves and I was looking forward to my next one.  I'd recommend Pete to anyone he is a great guy and a top teacher.

I took about 16 hours worth of lessons with Pete and found his teaching very worthwhile I passed first time and he gave me the confidence to know that I was good enough to pass I would recommend anyone to Pete if they want to pass in an automatic and will certainly be coming back to Drive Neal in a few years to drive a manual Many Thanks again Pete

To Pete, I'd like to say the biggest, "THANK-YOU!"
To anyone out there thinking about learning to drive, I say, "Pete's your man!"

Like others on this site, I, too, had had lessons previously...more than half my life-time ago, in fact! Having decided I might be more suited to an automatic, I did some digging for an instructor who'd have the patience, understanding, and, let's face it, courage to accompany a flustering, nervous, wittering mass out there on the roads. Pete was recommended to me by another school (who did only manual cars), with the advice, "Try Pete Neale: an excellent instructor!".
Pete, you were patient, understanding, calming, easy to talk to. Your lessons were clear, and paced to my needs.. You never rushed me, yet always had me making progress. You encouraged me, gave me belief in my ability to do this. It's the mark of a good teacher, who recognizes a student's needs and capability before the learner knows them for them self, and then guides them towards their realization.
For the reader: I passed my fourth test on 12th March, 2009, having only narrowly missed the first three! Throughout, Pete re-assured me: his confidence in my ability to drive strengthened my own confidence, and spurred me onward. He does, also, have a cracking sense of humour!
I can still hardly believe it, but, "I DID IT!".. That really is testimony to what an excellent instructor this man is!
